TROOP NEWS
USS Lexington Trip
Scouts and Parents,
For those of you going on the Lexington trip, we will be meeting at the back
of the church at 9:30am this Saturday. You should bring with you one change
of clothes and something to sleep on and a flashlight. The beds will have
plastic covered mats, so you can bring a sleeping back and or a sheet to
cover up with. Please do not bring any backpacks. A small duffle bag is
all that is needed.
Per the Lexington requirements, no electronics will be allowed on the
ship.
Again, we will be providing lunch on the trip down. You may want to bring additional money for snacks during the day and we will make a short stop on the way back on Sunday. We should be returning around 11:30am on Sunday.
There is also a gift shop on board in addition to the snack shop. so please bring money for that.
If you have any questions,
please do not hesitate to ask Scoutmaster Risk.

Webelos Crossovers
We have several cross-overs
and need everyone to help welcome the new scouts into our troop. You have
done a great job over the last year representing Troop 501. Because of your
efforts we have several cross-overs to attend and need everyone's help to
make sure we are there to welcome our new scouts. I have attached a list of
events we need to participate in along with those that have already signed
up.
If we can get everyone to sign up for at least one event, then we should
have enough coverage. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to
ask.
